1. Shuffle all the cards thoroughly.
2. Deal 5 cards to each player.
3. Place the remaining cards face down in the centre. This is the draw pile.
4. Keep your cards hidden from the other players at all times.

1. Draw 2 cards from the draw pile and add them to your hand.
2. Play up to 3 cards from your hand. You can play fewer if you choose.

Plan your spending and keep some money in your bank for future payments.

• Property cardsPlace them in front of you and match colours to build sets. Each set needs a specific number of cards.
• Activity cardsAdd one activity card to a property to increase its rent. Only one activity card is allowed per property.
• Action cardsSteal properties, swap cards or disrupt your opponents. Play them into the centre to use them.
• Money cardsPlay them face up in front of you to form your bank. Use them to pay other players, and keep your bank visible at all times.

Play a Rent card to charge the other players for properties you own and have played down. The more cards in your set, and the better the activity card on it, the more you collect.

• Each Rent card says which colour sets it applies to.
• Adding an activity card to a property increases its rent.
• Opponents pay you from their bank.

Each colour group needs a specific number of property cards, so check the card to see how many. Once a set is complete it is locked and counts towards your win.

• 2-card sets, e.g. Coco Beach (blue), UTB / UHOA (purple)
• 3-card sets, e.g. Protea, Zara, Arcadia (orange)
• 4-card sets, e.g. Murchison, Sambiya, Rwakobo, Bwindi (green)
